How long can newborn puppies live without mother's milk?

I have not dealt with new puppies, but I have raised 2 litters of kittens with supplemental milk. You can find this milk, along with the tiny bottles in the pet section of your local Walmart.  Feedings are similar to that of a human baby...every two hours.  I am sure you can find tons more info on this online.

Not long, hours maybe. If you want to bottle feed them, you can get some milk replacement powder at a pet supply store along with something to use to feed them. You don't have long though.

They need at least supplement milk to survive if they don't have the mother.  They usually die within 1-2 days because they become dehydrated first then starve to death.  I know we have raised animals before with supplement milk and even then some have died because supplemental formula isn't the same as the moms milk so some can't survive on it.
