How long can pork stay in the fridge??

i bought a pork roast a little over a week ago to make bbq pulled prk sandwiched in the slow cooker... and then i got busy, so thats where they stayed... are they no good anymore? i searched other previous questions and people say 3 to 4 days or when they get gray or smelly, mine are a little over a week but they are not gray or smelly.. they look the same as the day i bought them... what do you think? toss em and order pizza? or they are good to use?? thanks so much!!!

  1. Check the use by date and add a week, or freeze it for another time.

    No problem


  2. Depends how they are packaged, are they vacuum sealed or just wrapped with plastic wrap? as long as it doesn't smell or look discolored your should be ok, but i would only use this method from the vacuum sealed package 3 or 4 days if its wrapped in plastic wrap on a piece of styrofoam  

  3. THIS VARIES DUE TO PACKAGING AND DATE BOUGHT. SMELL IT AND ALSO FEEL. IF IT FEELS STICKY OR SLIMY I WOULD TROW IT AWAY.
