How long can smoked ham hocks last in the freezer?

The expiration date says 4/24/2008 HOWEVER the hocks were frozen long before the expiration date. If thawed out today 7/29/2008 are they still good?

yes, my dad always puts them in the freezer and like two or three months later we eat it. it still tastes the same
