How long can someone from England stay in Canada for?

My girlfriend is from England and I need to know how long she can stay here without getting a visa or anything. ( Her passport got stamped but there's no actual date just says expiration and then a code)

as a UK citizen you may stay up to 180 days in Canada..Keep in mind though that the Immigration officer at the point of entry can decide to permit you less time in the country but the chances of that happening are slim

she can stay or 6 months and can apply or an extention  but must apply at least 1 month before her time is up
