  2. If it is not a patriot act type violation 72 hours after the initial arrest. After 24 hours they have to get approvals but they do not have to book you for 72.

    They usually play the game of not arresting you and just questioning you, then they "hold" you for as long as they want. They always question in twos since if you lie to a fed it is against the law.
