How long can the media \ democrats get away with challenging Palin's experience?

It is really interesting they are making such a big deal about her 2 years as governor while their presidential candidate only has 4 years as a senator. And during most of that four years he was running for president - and authored not one serious reform or legislative act that matters! It seems to me Palin has more experience but yet the media and Democrats (one in the same actually) are getting away with challenging her on the subject.

The reason Palin's experience is a major topic is because McCain made experience an issue with Obama.  

However; Obama has experience, he worked on the GI bill, fought for senate finance reform, along with numerous other bills if you research the work of the senator online through goverment websites.  Not to mention how he got his state on the welfare to working program. But that does not matter, because he was chosen by the voters and endured numerous debates to prove his worth.

McCain met Palin once when she was 1 month away from having a baby at a governor's meeting.  Then after Obama did not pick Clinton on 8/22/08 he called her on 8/23/08 and talked to her while she was at a state fair. He offered her the position the day before he told the public.  He does not know her and the media does not know her, but I promise everything about her will come out.  Including the fact that 3 days after she had her child with special needs she reported to work and brought the child.  Some will call that good work ethics, others will call that crazy.

By the way Obama is a Christian, people who say otherwise use inaccurate fear tactics that want to play on fears not fact.  It is a lot of other things you can not like about him, but his faith is not one of them.

Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system.  The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks.  It’s on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.

As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism.  Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden's.

She's also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security's counterterrorism plans.

Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country's defense.  Given Alaska's proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we don't even know about.

They are comparing apples to oranges.   Gov. Palin is not running for President.  

Gov Palin has more executive experience then both men on the Democrat ticket combined.

Obama has 20 years of public service experience. Palin was a mayor of a small town of about 8,000 people, and is only a first-term governor. Compared to Obama's 20 years of public service and 5 years of Senator, (yes, five, he was in the Senate in 2003) Palin looks like a joke. Shook up the government, she says? Yeah if you call power struggles and corruption which she's currently under investigation for a "shake up" in the government.
