  1. Its true. We've plundered the world until theres hardly anything left. When everything has gone the shop will close down. I think maybe 100 years if we slow down now.

  2. well we cant expect it to last much long,

the bible has been warning us of the end of the earth for a long time.

no one wants to pay attention. no one knows when the end of time will be here except people are too arrogant to pay attention.

no one knows the end except God. looking at the signs that are showed in the bible its all happening now. the wars, the earthquakes, the natural disasters. my guess is we are running out of time.

  3. The world is not at risk - only some of its current occupants.

Nature will always restore an equilibrium.  We just will not be part of it and neither will the life forms we have decimated along the way.  Never mind - just think of the opportunities we will be creating for rampant evolution.

  4. Not long I would guess. They say we have so much of this and that. But when Mother Nature gets angry she always wrecks the house when we're not expecting it. The more we abuse her hospitality the more 'she' is likely to wipe us out.

The reason we have natural disasters is to keep the population down. And if we didn't use so many trees for things like furniture, the Earth could soak up the pollution, but as it stands it's getting harder.

It's strange to think that since the days of WW2 where most things were re-used, swapped or re-built, we have become so frivolous in nature that something with the tiniest defect is binned.

But in answer to your Q, I reckon we're screwed. I'm 27 and not having kids - imagine bringing them into this world?

  5. How long doesnt matter as long as you know uve done ur part to try to make the world a better place, if we all have played our part the rest is fate ..... So live while ur alive.  x*x

  6. that is too complex for me to think about today as would have my head in a spin, very optimistic today, keep on knitting and you be fine.

  7. Most experts agree that the worlds days are numbered and most agree that it will be dead in less than 500 years.

  8. The world itself will last for billions of years after we've gone. Things will live and thrive here. The end of civilisation might come in 100 years, but humans have only inhabited this planet for a fraction of time. We haven't screwed the earth up for every creature, but I don't think it's gonna be good for us and many other species.

People have this amazing ability to change and adapt to some really awful things. I think we'll have to change radically but we might just be ok :)

  9. What's the point in asking that question?
