We moved a few months ago and had to leave our bottles of alcohol in storage over the summer months. Are they still good?

  1. Pretty much indefinitely.

  2. Indefinitely

  3. as long as you can....there are many spirits sold being aged decades.

  4. Hundreds of years.  Alcohol is a preservative.

  5. Well you say Summer months.  Was the storage facility climate controlled?

As the others have said, alcohol is a natural preservative, and typically keeps for  long time.

However, heat and light can do some damage, as can air, depending on the type of alcohol.

If they sat all Summer in an un-air conditioned storage shed where internal temps may have been in the hundreds, I would be a bit suspect of them and probably not take a chance.

  6. They're fine

  7. alcohol doesen't expire

  8. A really, Really long time. if anything they will taste better. Some rum is aged for 40 years before its sold to anybody. Your in the clear,  just make sure no bugs got in it some how.
