How long can you hold a lighter right to a new 60w light bulb before it explodes?

i made me a vaporizer out of a 60w light bulb, but im kinda afraid to use it because the glass gets pretty hot, so how long can i torch the flame to it before it explodes, and can it explode. ( By explode i mean blowing to pieces.)

It all depends on how hot the flame gets.  Why not just try it and find out?  (It's called the 'experimental method' ☺)

The inside of the bulb is a vacuum.  It will implode.

Ordinarily I would say "go for it" and help clean up the gene pool, but I'm feeling protective today--please just watch movies and eat cookies and leave the poor light bulb alone.
