How long can you hold your breath under water?

Do you know how long can you hold your breath underwater?

I can hold mine for fourty seconds!

I could hold mine for 6-7 minutes, but it was an accident, my foot sank into the sand and it took a while before I got free, but I know it was over 6 minutes

It all depends on how much breath u have i always take lots of deep breaths untill i feel a little dissy to get more oxegyn in my blood before a swim a relay or swim race.
