  1. I have mine on for about 15 hours a day nothing wrong with it. Oh maybe the electricity bill.

  2. There's no time limit. But I wouldn't suggest leaving it on overnight or leaving it on while you're gone..etc. It can burn out the engine quick, fast and in a hurry. I've seen so many problems with TV's (some minor, same major) from simply leaving the TV on for long periods of time. I honestly wouldn't recommend it. You can have simply problems that can be fixed easily and inexpensively like a simple burn-out..where it needs to be shut off for a day or 2 then it goes back to normal, or you can have major problems like, light engine burnt out (which can get expensive)..tubes burning out (which can also be very expensive) and so on and so forth. My best advice, turn the TV off when it's not in use.

  3. LCDs dont have a tim elimit....It's your electric bill

  4. There is no time limit.  You leave it on as long as you are watching it and it is practical for your electric bill.  The warmth you feel is just the lamp giving off heat as well as illumination.
