I am having twins and would like to premake bottles for convenience. They would be made & stored, not partially used and stored.

  1. 24 hours if it's been untouched. If your baby has already drank out of it then you need to use it within an hour.

  2. It should say on the box.

Last I knew (so long as the baby had NOT eaten out of the bottle,) up to 24 hours only.  If the baby has eaten out of it and its not finished within one hour, then throw away the rest.

  3. Most are good for 24 hours in the fridge.

  4. it should be used in 24 hours as long as it wasn't touched.

i don't know how she knows the difference but she will not eat the premade bottles.

  5. 24 hours...is all I would leave it for!

Although it may be good longer than that!

  6. 24 hours in fridge.  i would try to use it as soon as possible!

  7. mixed is 24 hours.   If you want easy this is what I do put boiled cooled water in sterilized bottles (enough for the day) let sit on the counter then when baby wants to eat just put the right amount of formula powder in shake and feed.  The boiled water is good when sealed in the bottle for 24 hours. this is easyer  because you don't have to warm the bottles and listen to a crying baby or two while waiting for them to heat enough or if over heated bottles to cool a bit. ( this happened with my first ).

  8. 24 hours if its in the fridge

  9. I have read no more than two hours, which means as soon as the babies are done with one feeding, you'll have to prepare for the next. Sounds exhausting to me, especially when you have to wash bottles, nipples, etc. I have better ways to spend my time.

Personally, I think it would be more convenient to breastfeed. I have one daughter, ten months, and I wouldn't have had the time to make bottles for her, either when she was hungry, or premade. Also, I can't fathom the cost of formula for one baby, let alone two. (Never mind most contain unnatural ingredients.) Milk is always free and ready when the baby(ies) want it.

  10. Once water and formula have been mixed it should be discarded after an hour no longer.

  11. The best way to know is to check the can. My daughter uses enfamil gentleease and it is good for 24 hours in fridge and 2 hours out if not drank from. But please check your can to be safe because formula spoils quickly.

  12. You can only leave the bottle in there for a hour because the milk start to spoil. With my daughter i never really put the bottle in the fridge i always dumped it out and then when she was hungry i would fix her a new one.

  13. It's 24 hours if you've made it and the baby has not drank any from the bottle. If your child has drank some of the formula, the bottle should be consumed within 1 hour. Saliva starts to break down the formula.

  14. It should say on the packaging... but I always read 24 hours, if not started to feed... once the baby starts to eat it, it must be used within an hour.
