How long can you wear a trial pair of contacts

Question

I got a trial pair of color contact lenses the other day. Is it ok to wear it a second day or are they one day only? I disinfected them and kept them in lense solution overnight

supposed to throw them out after 2 weeks, but of course...not many ppl do that.  i wear mine just like regular contacts.  take them out and clean them every 2 weeks and put them back in.  i usually don't throw them away until one rips or something.  it's not unhealthy b/c my vision gets better everytime i go to the dr.  well, if it isn't better...it's the same.  never worse.  if one rips and you throw it out, i suggest you replace both.

i use Accuvue Oasys so i can use them for 2 weeks. it relly depends but deffy for at least a week

Call a pharmacist and ask. My guess is the other person was right, just a few days.

i went up to a month. you can too if you take real good care of them

but most eye specialists will tell you no more than 2 weeks.

You can generally wear trial contacts up to 10 days.  Just keep them clean and you should be good to go!

it depends how long your optometrist said.

i got my contact 2 days ago [trial], and i have to go back next week with my contacts so they can see how they fit and stuff.

And since my contacts are 2 week soft ones, after i go to the appt, i can still wear them for another week.

My doc told me I could wear mine for up to two weeks, but I don't know what kind of contacts your doc gave you.  Mine were Accuvue Oasys.

Depends on the kind. Some are only 1 day, while other trial contacts can go up to 3 weeks.

Until they start to become uncomfortable.  The normal is 1-2 weeks.  They are only regular disposable contacts, and I regularly wear mine 1-2 months, cleaning them once a week.
