  1. Depending on what you do, you can work right up to it.

When I was pregnant with my second child, I worked on the day i gave birth.

I went in and worked, and then at about 3:30 i started having contractions and i went to the hospital and delivered my baby.

  2. u dont have to stop working...you can go right till the end...but you are entitled to maternity pay at about 34 weeks

  3. If you have a normal healthy pregnancy you can work right up until you go into labor.

  4. my friend worked Thursday and her c-section was on Friday!

  5. It totally depends on what kind of work it is and how your pregnancy is progressing.  If it's easy work (sitting down) and you feel fine, you can work right up to the day, that's what I did.  But, if the work is more physical you might want to quit at about the 7 month mark just to be safe and comfortable.  Just go with your gut.

  6. I had a scheduled a c-section on Monday April 28th and worked until the Friday before. If you just started a job, you should be worried about when you can work until - not when you have to work until.

  7. You can work as long as you want unless your doctor says not to. Just make sure someone at work can drive you to the hospital if your water breaks or you go into labor.

  8. I worked all the way up till the day I delivered with my son.  I didn't want to stop working.  But you will know when you should stop.
