  1. North pool?

Well those from the North Pole have an average lifespan of about 30-35 years

  2. they still live....dont they?

  3. I thought they were still around?????

  4. I think you are mistaken.  There are no eskimos in North Pool - there aren't even any at the North Pole, and there never have been!

  5. Is the question 'how long ago did eskimos live?'

(people from the north pole rather than the north pool)

If so, they are not extinct. They are now known as the Inuit and live in the Canadian Arctic and Greenland.

However if you meant 'how long do eskimos live?' then I imagime that their life expectancy may be somewhat less than 'westerners' perhaps 70.

  6. Eskimos or Inuits as they are referred to now never have and never will live in the north pole. They mainly live in Alaska, and a few  parts of Canada. It is a popular misconception that they live at the north/south pole. As for life-span, probably about 50-60 years, due to the extreme cold they constantly live in.

  7. SPELL CHECK.

  8. Is this really english I read?

  11. DOH!

the eskimo have not died out.

there are about seven million of them still living and breathing.

    all around the planet.

  12. A 1995 study of the circumpolar region (Greenland, Canada, Alaska and Russia) had a average age range for both sexes of 64.1 to 77.9. The lowest was in Greenland, the highest in Quebec, Canada.

A 2006 report stated "the average lifespan of Inuit is a full 10 years shorter than that of the average Canadian."
