  1. A year or so, but it depends how much you drive. I drive an hour each way to work and the highway is easy as pie .Just remeber when on the highway the LEFT lane is only for passing.Stay RIGHT as much as you can. I see people in there 50s and 60s that are grabbing the wheel so tightly there all nerved up,probably because they only drive through town,so the highway gets em all nerved up.

  2. See all those people who spent their youth at fair grounds would have know problem with getting use to a vehicle without shift gears.

The key I believe to feeling confident behind the wheel (makes not difference with type) is accepting the irresponsibility of driving and knowing that you have a lethal weapon under your control your being the important word, once you have accepted and understood this issue your confidence will grow and you will become a driver ready to achieve.

  3. As soon as I turned the key. (I learned stick first.) Auto is too easy for it to take long to get accustomed to.

  4. ill answer that question in the future when i begin to drive,

  5. For me it took a little while to get used to drivin auto but you'll get used to it

  6. in a few years you,ll get in it and drive it like you been doing it for a life time,it will become more of a routine ,driving anything takes time to get use to,even changing cars takes some adjusting to,after a while though you just get in and do it without even paying any attention to it,good luck.
