  1. You should get it in a week or so, if not when you out process.

  2. Hard to recall...I took 23 days of terminal leave, so it was at least that long. I'm going to say around a month after my final ets date, but I honestly don't remember (it was more than 15 years ago).

  3. I had mine in hand the last day in service. I gave them my ID card, they gave me a DD214.

  4. It was the last piece of paperwork I signed and after getting the CO's signature on it, I walked off base with it in hand.

  5. I got my DD-214 on the day I left active duty.  I received another DD-214 while demobilizing from a deployment.

  6. Mine was handed to me in my discharge packet.

  7. They had us look over ours and sign it right there and get it the same day. If not they should send it to you within a week, however I am not sure why you wouldnt have gotten it the same day. Thats kinda messed up if you didnt. What branch are you in/ were you in?

  8. I had it my briefcase when I walked out the door from the Air Force and even supervised the clerk to make sure it was done right...

Don't tell me that you are trusting them to fill it out without you being there? TSK TSK TSK

  9. I've been out of the Army for about a year and a half and just got mine about two months ago.  My unit never gave me one and I had to request it from a place, I can't remember the name of, several times before I finally received it.

  10. I also had mine before I finished outprocessing.
