  1. I found girls were easier

But my grandson is just 3 and it only took us a week to get him dry day and night

    xx

  2. This is more a brag than a question is it not?

  3. I think it all depends on the child. Girls seem to start earlier than boys do. As for boys, if you make it a fun experience then they will more than likely try harder to go to the bathroom. It's a little trick and may sound odd, but if you take cheerios or fruit loops in the bathroom and put them in the toilet and tell the boys to try and sink them, they'll have fun with it and want to try all the time. If they go potty then reward them with one M&M or treat of your choice. If they go poo, reward them with two pieces. Worked great for me and all was done in about a week and a half. I started the potty training around 1 1/2-2 yrs of age. Here's some sites to check out as well. Good luck!!!

  4. hahahahaha! less than a week? don't make plans!

thanks for the laugh. i have heard that girls are easier, because they'd rather not be messy. i just started teaching my son, hes 2.

  5. My mother taught my son by getting him to water the plants.

  6. Trying to potty train my little boy was a nightmare!!!  He was nearly 3 and in the end I made a big thing about getting big boy pants.  Took him on a shopping trip and let him pick the pants himself and one day just put him in the pants told him he was a big boy and must use the toilet and that was that! Had a couple of accidents but took a few days and it was all good :)  He wouldnt go near the toilet or potty while i let him wear those sort of nappy pants!

Good luck but I would imagine it would be easier if they have an elder brother or sister who uses the toilet, they want to be just like them :)

  7. Well it took my 2yr old daughter to become fully trained day and night a month

  8. My daughter was a late bloomer-she was almost 4 by the time she was completely potty trained (no pull-ups during the day or night). It took a week and a half.

  9. i introduced a potty once my daughter could walk at about 9 months, this was only so she could get used to it being around though.

It took about a month and by the time she was about 18 months she was dry through the night.

she's 2 1/2 now and its been over a year since she wore a nappy.

    i guess i was lucky.

  10. ive just started to potty train my 2 yr old

if i leave him with no nappy on he goes on the toilet or potty for a wee but wont poo on them but if i put him underpants on then he thinks he got a nappy on and wets them, im thinking this is gonna take me a while to get him used to doing everything on the potty/toilet

  11. Several attempts over the course of a year between 2 and 3 years old. They do it when they're ready.

  12. I've got 1 wee boy n he took months he was so lazy he used 2 pee in the corner of his room if he was watching TV
