How long did it take you for a tragus or rook piercing to heal?

I got my cartilage pierced at a tattoo/piercing shop like 6 moths ago, and it is still not healed completely. I have been using H2Ocean on it daily, and washing it right. I think maybe I take a long time to heal...

If you have a rook or a tragus piercing, how long did it take you to heal? What complications did you have with it? What was the pain sensation like (maybe compared to cartilage or belly button)?

I know how long is standard healing time, like 2-12 months. I am asking because I want to hear how long it took *real* people to heal. Also, I am not going to let the pain deter me (I have tattoos and other piercings), but I don't want to get a piercing and end up taking it out b/c it won't heal.

***Sorry this is in TATTOOS...there isn't a category for piercings.***

  1. i got both my rook and tragus pierced at the same time, and they both took about a month and a half to heal enough for the jewelry to be changed and i still don't think they're fully healed yet, but i got a keloid on the back of my tragus, it wasn't too bad though, i used this oil stuff i got from my piercer and it worked really well.  i never had any troubles with my rook though.

both of them hurt way less than my belly button, the tragus hurt a little less than a cartilage but the rook hurt a little bit more.
