  1. Good luck... I never did get the hang of it.... went back to glasses

  2. that same day. it was kinda weird seeing through them at first but i adjusted quickly. i was thrilled to have them! lol! it's different for everyone... :)

  3. 2 weeks

  4. well it took me actually a month to just put them in my eye coz the moment i used to take them near my eye i used to close it but then some how what i did is just close the other eye and focus my open eye on my finger with which i used to put the lense this works 4 me now i take 5 to 10 mins getting adjusted to them is ok 4 me it took me about a week 4 that

  5. i did it first time, in about 30 seconds. i was blinking for a few minutes though.  now i can do it maybe 5-10 seconds with one hand.

do it in a mirror and concentrate on the image in the mirror, don't look at the contact on your finger. don't try to put it straight on the iris, but half on half off, that way it slides into place on your iris better.

another tip: don't get shampoo in your eye whilst wearing contacts, that's not fun, they say don't shower with them at all, but defiantly avoid the shampoo drips!!

  6. I find that it's easier if you look up. pull your lower lid down, bring your contact lense which should be placed on your index finger close to your eye look up and when the lense is close simply look down this will grasp the lense  close your eye for a few seconds, blink and it should be okay.  be sure to always place a towel or something in front of you in case the lense falls, and if you are working near a sink, be sure to place a paper towel at the bottom to avoid it going down. good luck.

  7. couple weeks

  8. I'm sure it didn't take me more than a week or two, but those first few days were really hard!

    I have a few tips.

Make sure your eye is moist, the inside of your contact is moist, and the outside of your contact & the finger you use to put it in is drier. The moist contact will naturally attract to the moist surface of your eyeball that way, and it will help it stick on the first try, even if you just get it within a few mm of your eyeball surface.

I never did put it into my iris. I used a gooseneck magnifying mirror on the countertop, and after I put a drop of contact lens moisturizer in my eye and onto the "cup" of the lens, I used my other hand to pull my my eyelids (top and bottom) really wide open, and I rolled my eyeball up, and then I stuck the lens onto that white part of my eye in the lower outside corner. That was a whole lot easier for me. Once the lens made contact, I just blinked a few times, and it was in place.

    Hope that helps.

  9. it took me about a week. however, the first time it only took me about 5 minutes.

how are you putting them in? what i did is pull the eye open and look away then slide the contact onto a part of your eye other than the iris, and while still holding your eye open kind of mve your eye towards where the contact is. it should grab onto the edges of your iris and just stay there easily.

  10. a month, and yes, that is how i put them in as well.

  11. In a week or so you'll be fine. Make sure that you wash your hands with a really mild soap before you mess with them, though. I've had contacts for 8 years and my eyes still burn and tear up like crazy if I use anything but unscented soap to wash before I put my lenses in.
