How long did it take you to get over your first love?

Its taken me longer than I would have ever imagined.

well. I'm  straight but i did have a first love. it was awful how couldn't get over him. the worst part was that he and i were both flirts and we would flirt with each other constantly. making me want him more. plus we were best friends so if h liked a girl he would tell me making me feel worse. we stopped going out last september. i got over him june. so you might have a long way to go like me. now i'm in love all over again with my ex's best friend.

I can't get over him still. And I want it to be over! My heart can't stop loving him, even if it hurts.

If they really are your first true love you probably never will.

Either that or you'll find someone else and you'll forget that

you ever loved that other person in the first place.

Nearly 11 years now and still counting...Never got over and never will.

The feeling is still fresh and the glow,  memories swathe me in,  is still warm.  There will never be another for me,  so entrenched it is in my fulfilled soul...I'll meet him when I go up there!

Well my first love ended month ago. As hard as it was 4 me I have moved on and still deeply love her. But don't enough to fight 4 her. Maybe we could be friends one day lol

I never did get over my first love.  I still think of her.  She had the most beautiful brown eyes and long, curly hair, and her nose crinkled up when she laughed.  I couldn't take my eyes off her. She kissed me once and I still remember how I felt.  Then we moved on to the third grade and she was in a different class and she forgot all about me. [sigh]

I'm not a L*****n but I will share my story. I liked this boy about 2 years ago. I knew he wasn't interested but nothing will change how I felt about him. So I liked him for two years and I think I have moved on. I mean I like one other guy, but I always go back to this one boy. He's just the guy that I think about all the time. I know I will never be with him, but he knows that I like him, so at least he knows. I hope one day I will fully get over him. So I still haven't gotten over him. I know it's only been 2 years but it's going to take a lifetime for me to stop thinking about him.

2 minutes. yep, 2 minutes. i cried my heart out when he left for the navy, and i know it sounds shallow, but who knows how the heart works. he came home on leave and i was young.

when i saw that shaved head, it freaked me out, i wouldn't answer the door for him. i laugh now. i can't believe i did that after crying for 6 weeks.but i did and i never regretted it.

i'm sure he married a nice irish girl.
