How long did it take you to get pregnant, actively trying? How long after going off bc did you start trying?

Question

My doctor said to start trying as soon as I stopped my pills because I could be most fertile right after. How long did you wait to start trying after going off pills? How long did it take you to conceive when you were actively trying to get pregnant? Your age? How long were you on the pill before trying?

I'm 25, married for 5 years and have been on bc pills entire time until last month. Tried one month- no luck. Trying again this month. I know it is only like a 25% chance each month, but I am just wondering about others' situations.

i am 21 and i stopped the pill May 6th (after being on it a few years) and my hubby and i have been trying to get pregnant ever since and no luck. a few of my aunts and friends say to "stop trying and it will happen". i guess we have to wait for God to bless us with one! =]

With my first I started trying the following month and got pregnant right away and my third I missed taking 2 pills and got pregnant.  So I may be a little more fertile then most but it is possible for sure. Oh and I had been on bc for 5 years and then after my first it had been another 5 years.

i went off the pill 2 weeks before my wedding June 7, i thought it took atleast 3 months to get preggers, but i am  4 weeks along. so i guess it depends on your body.

i was on the pill for 6 yrs, we started try as soon as i stopped, it took 5 mths, then i was on the pill between kids, for 15 mths, then it still took 5 mths to conceive second

I was on the pill for 16 years.. went off of it when I was 34.. waited 3 months, then got pregnant @ 35 on the first try with twins.  Unfortunately lost them this past Feb... we are TTC again. I will be 36 next month.
