  1. took me three months, which is the norm.

  2. I've been off the pill for a full year now.  Still not pregnant.  I was on the pill for the majority of 15 years.  (never had an IUD or did Depo)  Found out 4 months ago that I had a complex cyst on my ovary.  Just had surgery last Monday to remove it and they found endometriosis.  They removed all of it and now we are to start trying again at the end of this week.  (I'm 35).

A close friend of mine was also on the pill for 15 years.  Went off it and the first month got pregnant.  They didn't expect it to happen so soon.  They were expecting it to take a year or so.

As you already know, everyone is different.  Depending on your age, you could have fertility testing started if you haven't conceived within 6 months of trying.  (Usually if you are over 30 and this is your first).  If you are younger, doctors say to wait a year before starting to test for infertility.

Good luck and Baby dust to you!!!
