I had a stillborn baby girl on Feb 2008. My period started back up again a month later, but they are 40 days long. Before getting pregnant, my cycles were regular (28-30 days) and it only took me 2 months to conceive. Now, its been almost 6 months since I given birth and I have had 3 cycles. I do not know if I am ovulating. I have used OPK tests, but have had no luck with them.

Now, I am on day 40 of my cycle and have not gotten my period. I took a HP test today and it was negative. I think I tested to0 early.

I just wanted to know if there was anyone who has gone throgh the same thing and got pregnant again.

Please HELP!

  1. my dear the only thing that would be a good Idea is to talk with your doctor.  He/she Would know when the best time to start trying for another baby and also if it would happen again.  I really do not think it could happen again but I would check and see they would know.  So sorry for your loss though

  2. Hey there... I am sorry for your loss... However, I am in the same boat as you. I have very long cycles and I am not getting my period right now. Its long due and the tests show negative. Maybe we should wait a few more days. Are you having any symptoms? Fatigue, nausea, etc? If you are, than I say wait a few more days before wasting another test.

  3. i cant answer you question but i am sorry for your loss
