My husband had a vasectomy reversal 4 years ago ( 2 years after vasectomy) and I stopped taking birth control pills in December. We've been trying to get pregnant since January and still no luck. Should I go see my obgyn now or should I wait a little longer? I am very worried..... I am 26 and my husband is 43.

  1. I'm 28 and my husband is 35. He already has a son from a previous marriage and it took us 8 months of active trying for me to get pregnant.

  2. First you should make sure that he is able to produce sperm that will get you pregnant not everybody will be able to get that reversal and it be successful but good luck.

  3. go now dont wait , the sooner you go and find out what is goin on the sooner u will be on the rite track to get pregnant

  4. 5 years with baby#1 now TTC#2 for 3 years

  5. try have s*x on the 14th day of ovlations it would be work.., if u already done, then go to see ur doctor.. all women who try hav babies, they like that..u r not only one :) its normal

  6. It took me 9 months to get pregnant, and that was with out the vasectomy reversal. sometimes those don't work well and he may have a low count from it. Has he had the reversal tested? Also remember it can take up to a year to get pregnant especially when you are coming off of hormonal birth control.

  7. I hear it takes a the average couple six months.  I don't think a fertility specialist will see you until after six months.  My husband and I tried for six months with no luck and had to stop due to a medication.  When we were able to try again it took us two months and I think it was because the second time we decided not to stress about it.  The first time we knew we had a deadline because of the medication.  The second time we just decided to have fun and see what happens.
