How long did it take you to get your wedding pictures?

It has been five weeks now and now I am obsessing and saying I should have got this pic and I missed a bunch. Especially the family picture of everyone sucks.

two weeks at the most - I had a CD of all my pictures plus a 4X6 of every single picture

it took longer to get special order pictures (like the album & larger sizes)

but five weeks still seems pretty long. I'd give your photographer a call!!

We are professional photographers ourselves and the thing is, if the pictures are going to be retouched, and worked on that should take longer. If no album was ordered, it usually takes 2- 3 weeks, never more.

I am glad to hear I am not the only one who is "missing pictures". I have a few that I cant believe they missed ( no pictures of the ring bear and flower girl together) and some I have no idea why he took them. I how ever I have seen our pictures two weeks after the wedding. We will be receiving our pictures this week, book will follow in a month or two!

I had a group shot taken right after the ceremony...and they didn't zoom in so you cant even see any one! It looks like just a group of people standing on the beach! So no your not the only one who missing pictures, I actually told them I was not very happy some of the photos missing are normal shots to be taken at any wedding and it is something that should not of been missed. I am getting some money back and extra prints of poses for free because they agreed that I didn't ask for any unreasonable extra shots. You might want to talk them (nicely, and explain your disappoint in the missing shots) I told them I do love the most of the shots taken but I was very upset they missed very common shots. Ones you see in everyone wedding albums.

Our pics took 4 weeks to get back.  We were calling her and bothering her everyday to get them but we understood.  She had a lot of editing to do (our pics were down by a river and my dress got really dirty so she had to digitally clean my dress in most pics), and we ended up with 380 amazing pictures!!!

It was worth the wait for us.

And there is no point in stressing over shoulda, coulda, woulda's.

If you dont get your pic's back with in a week then i would call somewhere if you can hun.

1 week. I had it written into my contract. A lot of people forget this. I wanted my wedding pictures done by the time we came back from our honeymoon. We had a great time decorating with them, making albums, and scrapbooks. Its important to write this into your contact. They will hurry it up if their $$$ is on the line.
