How long did it take you to have your second baby?

Question

I was wanting to know from different women how long did it take for you to deliver you're second baby. How many hours did it take and what did you do for pain? I am curios because i am pregnant with my second so i thought i would ask other women how it was for them. Also how did your first child react to the new little one. My son just turned 2 so i was curious. Please tell your stories if you would like.

I was induced 6 weeks early...did nothing for pain, after having an epidural with my oldest lol...was in labor for about 10 hours, pushed for 9 minutes..

My oldest (who was only one when his brother was born) was ecstatic at the baby.

1st baby 31hrs

2nd baby 6hrs from first contraction to delivery!

I had a scheduled section so i had her in no time at all.

My daughter was almost 3 when we had the new baby. She was (and still is) so excited about her. We made sure to tell her that it was her baby too. We included her in everything, diapering, bathing, so that she would feel inportant too.

She also needs quiet time too, away from the baby. She does get sick of seeing her.

overall she loves her more than anything. A few days after we brought the baby home, she asked me if  i would give her a little brother too! She still keeps asking!!!
