How long did it take you to learn how to drive?

Question

I'm 18 and trying to learn how to drive (my dad is teaching me) we're going to start tomorrow. How long do you think it will take me / did it take you to learn to drive?

I want to know because my boyfriend just went back to college and I want to be able to drive up to his dorm soon.

You never stop learning how too drive every season it is a new experience  you got snow,rain,wind,drunk driver's , slow driver's bad driver's just relax and watch out for the other guy

its different for everybody, just take your time and learn how to drive safely.

After you learn how to put on your seat belt get the seat comfortable mirrors adjusted and maintance and your ready to go. Please, please get a good feel for the brakes go and stop several times Once you do that its easy you should be able to get the hang of it in a week.

ersonallly i think u should only learn with a proper drivjng instructor as things can get complicated learning with family members... and it toook me around 5 months to get my full driving licence..i was doing 1 1 hour lesson a week
