  1. 2 times going snowboarding at 5 or 6 hours a day.

the first time i just went on the bunny hill and

the second time just real runs.

    its not that easy ;

    but not that hard either.

    (:

    its funn!(:

  2. For me it took one good day of learning.  A lot of time on my butt.  On the second day I was able to go down the mountain pretty decent, I did take some spills though.

I did not take a lesson and don't really think it is necessary if you have someone with you that is willing to show you the basic fundamentals.

Also for me I Started out on the really little bunny hill which made it harder because you can only go so far then you have to go back up the hill again. My advice is go to the bunny hill and fool around for like an hour and get comfortable, then go up the lift on a beginner run with somebody.  Then work your way down the mountain.  You will spend a lot of time on your butt, and face but this way you will get more riding time in. Good luck!

  3. About an hour, but I am a veteran skateboarder

  4. 3 days but to be able to actually do it 7

  5. Well 2 days, but I went with the school, if you want to learn the basics go to this site

Also, it wasn't very easy, the stopping part was creepy, lol, so was the turning when I barely learned how to stop, loll

try that site, I recommended it to so many people, it should help.

  6. Most students, especially those who are athletic, can master basic turns on the easier runs by the 3rd or 4th day of riding. Whether a group lesson, a private lesson or friend instructing you is the best will depend on you. Kids seem to do well in group lessons.

    Good Luck

  7. It totally depends on the person's natural skills like balance and how quickly they learn.  It also depends on how good the teacher is. For example, getting a private lesson(although more expensive) is going to be much more benificial than a group lesson, because it will allow someone to learn much quicker because they're getting one on one attention.

I was able to figure out the basics and get myself down green runs without too many falls after 2 private lessons.

  8. It honestly does depend on wether you're a natural snowboarder or not.

I got the basics down in about an hour. I was down the black diamond after 3 hours.

    :D

  9. It took me about one season of going to the ski hill every weekend. In that time I taught myself everything from being able to go down a run without falling to going to the terrain park and doing tricks.

  10. It will really change for each person! You have to keep with it though. Many people try once, think it is too hard and quit! You might be on your butt alot but keep trying and you can do it! It might be a good idea the first time to take a lesson and/ or just do the bunny slope. I seemed to learn better by trying a harder slope and figuring it out!!! Good luck! Have fun,  I know You will :)

  11. In my expirences, you will hate it for at least 2 days. stick with it on and you shoudl get it by the 3rd or 4th day. if you have never skiied than it shoudl be way easier so i hear ( i have never skiied)
