How long did it take you to...

Alright, I am getting a laptop for myself. It's $900 dollars, but I'm making $450 { shipping}. And My dad is matching that. So my questions are.

1:) How long did it take you to make $500?

2:) What household chores can I do? (I get $20 I babysit.)

3:) On estimate how long do you think it'll take.

What is your opinion on the HP Pavilion Tablet tx2500z series laptop?

you can do stuff for your neighbors,friend's relatives, your relatives,get a job. almost anything..if you keep doing stuff constantly..you should come up with the 500 in about 2 months..maybe less.

if u had a job u should make that within a month depending how much you work

If you are really determined.. i take it you are. then you can wash cars, walk dogs, take care of pets while people are away, babysit as much as possible, if you get en allowence than try to get a raise!

I think you can make it in about 2 months.  Ask your parents if you can have a yard sale.  Take old things you really don't use or need anymore and sell them.  Good luck!  Your parents must be so proud of you for being so responsible.

1. im 20 and a sparky by trade so ill make 5hundy in about 3-4 days work. but i pay bills n **** too so yea.

2. my old man was always there to help out. say to him you would really like a laptop and if he pays the full amount pay him back when you can or go halves n pay him back if u can afford half the laptopwen u go to get it.  paying parents back they dont care about interest haha so u save money if u dont do hire purchase or wateva u call it. also offer to help out with dishes or taking pet for a walk or even wash their car if ur that keen haha

my opinion if the hp laptop has good specs for that price go for it. tell me the specs if u want info. hope this helps =)

well, here's the thing.. $900 on a laptop is alot.  What are your plans to do with it?  Really, you can get an awesome laptop from Best Buy for under $500.. UNless you plan to do professional type things with it, I suggest you buy a cheaper version.  Laptops cant be upgraded as easily as a desktop so buy a cheap one because most likely, you will replace it soon.
