How long did you wait before you asked your doctor for fertility drugs??

Also which type did you use and how fast did it help?

In the US you must be trying for a year. WOW, 3 months is really quick. If you are trying and you know you are having intercourse during your fertile window, and you are not conceiving...then I would go when YOU feel something is wrong. GOOD LUCK!

I've never used, but my understanding is that most will not give until you're trying for a year.  You might want to ask earlier though, so he can give you some natural suggestion to make sure you are maximizing your natural potential (ie ovulation testing, watching for ewcm, s*x 7 days prior to ovulation and 4 days after the + ovulation test, etc.).

My understanding is it can work within the first month, but depends on what method you're using - Clomid, etc.

If you think you have a problem you should see a doctor right away. Otherwise 12 months if you are under 35 and 6 months if you are over 35. The doctor will determine the course of treatment based on diagnosis.
