  1. My first job was obtained while I was in high school through a work study program.  I worked for the employer for a year.  After that job, I obtained a new position with a new employer and was employed for two years.  Since I gained further work experience, I applied for a higher position with a different company and work for them for 2 1/2 years.  With the knowledge and experience I gained from that employer I obtained a position with a new company and was employed with them for 12 years.

While employed with my last employer, I started my own business and have been running the company for 10 years.

I hope that this information has been use full, if you would like to discuss your question further, please feel free to email me.

    Best wishes.

  2. it was not a summer job.  i was hired by my company right out of military service.  figured i'd stay there around 5 years and move on to something else.  during the course of my employment i had three very different jobs - electro-mechanical designer, design supervisor, and technical writer.  i retired in 2000 after 30+ years with the same company

  3. 2 years.  I worked there until I went to college.
