Question:

How long do Fuchsias bloom for and when generally?

also, how tall are they and are they self seeders or not?

  1. Mine bloom from early spring to right at the end of summer. Does depend on the climate and weather conditions. Most years I have long show.  


  2. It depends on your growing season. Mine bloom in late spring all the way up to late fall. There are hardy fushias that can be about 3 feet tall and the common trailing fushias that you see in baskets. They will grow easily from seed. Most fushias are hybrids so the offspring will not look exactly like the parents. The seeds form in the little berries of the plant they are ripe when they are very dark and soft.
