  1. um... as the answer in front of me already stated... concrete is not a substance you're gonna want to press your face into.

Go get yourself a book on mold making to learn some basics before you suffocate or disfigure yourself.

If you want to have a facial impression in concrete, I'd advise you to make a mold with plaster made for casting skin. Then make a plaster or wax double of your face -  that you can press into concrete for however long it takes to set up (which , btw is different for each mix and will state on the package).

  2. Nah it wont even take an hour IF the concrete is mixed on the dry side.  But if it has too much water in it, you'll spend quite a while bobbing for concrete!  Hope this helps!

  3. Concrete fears your beauty.

I got nothin, so I thought I'd try a compliment.

  4. It will be at least two hours. Good luck breathing.

  5. Concrete/cement is very acidic and can disfigure you. Or at the very least give you concrete poisoning. Concrete Poisoning is a chemical reaction that absorbs all the moisture and oil out of your skin to the extent that your skin will crack. Often all the way to the bone.

  6. an hour sounds about right, but you'll have to hold your breath that long, as breathing out at all would ruin the cast

  7. I'm guessing 24 hours if you are looking for perfection.  Love honey

  8. I agree with FuzzyDog.  Put your face in goop first and then slam it into the concrete.  Can you tell me where I can get a wench dress just like yours?

  9. Until the concrete sets up, usually a couple of hours. Then remove the skin from your face because concrete will make your skin come off very easy.

  10. forget your face...if you do your bust send me a copy...

  11. We weren't planning on it, but our cat walked in wet concrete, not even leaving her paws there for more than a footstep.  While we got pretty little footprints, we spent a considerable amount of time getting the concrete off her paws, taking some of her skin along with it.

A neighbor of mine coated her child's hands in Goop before pressing them in concrete that had been allowed to set for a while (to an almost-hard state) and had a good hand-print, leaving the hand easily washable of all remnants of the concrete.

As to your face?  I would seriously consider doing a mold and then a cast first, so the cast could be pressed into the almost-hard concrete rather than your actual face.  Any mistakes could cost you your skin at best, and at worst, the firemen will have to come and remove a large chunk of the sidewalk and take you AND the concrete to the hospital (and that would be using one side of your face).  Going in face first would be the biggest mistake ever and will probably cost you your life.

PLEASE use the mold and cast method!!
