How long do I have to wait for my first message to be approved by the group owner? I'm in limbo!?

You only have to wait long enough for the owner / moderator to come online to go into their groups to approve messages. Thats all you can do, and hopefully the owner  / moderator will come online unlike so many that just don't care anymore.

there's really no set time. a good guess would be when they wake up- it's a holiday weekend, maybe they're away.
