I watered it for about 1-3 hours in each spot. Is that enough now? Or do I have to do it tomorrow too?

  1. That is MORE than enough. Unless you are having an extreme dry period, you should only water 2 times per week.

You are trying to mimick nature by applying between 1/2" & 1" of water per week, max.

  2. The rule of thunb is: It's time to water, when footprints remain on the lawn long after watering.

You should water infrequently, but deeply and in the early mornng hours.

By giving your lawn a good soak, once a week, you encourage its roots to grow deeper.

But when you water superficially everday, the roots remain near the surface, making them more susceptible to desease and drought.

Watering too much may also bring desease as well.

    Hope I helped!

  3. YOU JUST HAVE TO WATER 1 A WEEK NOW.
