How long do I leave support bandages on a horse who has had an injury?

injury is a lacerated pastern on hind leg and a laceration that was sutured to outer aspect of right foreleg on the cannon bone. Has been bandaged for 11 days after accident, swelling is minimal. Very lame on the hind leg.

You might leave the bandage off for one to see if it starts to swell back up. I assume he's on bute, I would call the vet see if they have anythy treatment ideas or options.
