I painted my room yesterday. The first coat was done around 4:30 pm and the second sponging color was done around 11:30 last night. It's 7:30 pm the next day now, and my walls feel dry. BUT, when can I move all my stuff back into my room (like my drawers, hang pictures....)?

  1. I generally let paint dry 24 hours before putting electrical outlet covers, etc., back on.  However, you could probably cut down on that time a bit.  You can go ahead and move your stuff back in and hang pictures.  Don't use any tape or adhesive on it yet; give it more time to cure.

  2. now

  3. you can move all of your stuff in right now just wait seven days to wash walls for  curing time

  4. It should be fine, but the paint will be soft for a week or two so avoid bumping anything into the walls until it is fully cured.
