How long do I need to cook pork chops in the oven for?

They are about an inch thick. What heat do I need to put them on at?

The best thing to do (for future reference) would be to invest in a meat thermometer.  The thermometer will have temperatures for meats, such as 180/poultry, etc...  You can stick the thermometer in the meat and see if it goes up to the recommended temp.  This is the safest way to make sure your meat is cooked thoroughly.  I remember as a child on thanksgiving, there was always a thermometer sticking out of the turkey while it cooked in the oven.

It depends on how you want it done. I usually cook it for  f400 for about 30 -35 minutes. If you want it more tender, maridate it with lemon and masturd for 30 min. or an hour.
