How long do I need to keep old check stubs?

I have a different job now so do I need to keep my old paycheck stubs? If I do do I keep them for 7 years like tax forms? ONLY factual answers please

No, you don't.

You only need to retain them if you are trying to buy a house or some other big ticket item and need proof of salary.  But even then, you don't need to keep them more than a few months.
