I had a cavity in one of my wisdom teeth (lower left), and my dentist has been practicing since before I was born (I'm 36 now), and everything went very smooth. Felt no pain, only a little pressure and was in and out of the office in about 30 minutes. He gave me all the procedures of the aftermath, and I asked him how long do i have wait before I can smoke? He said "4-6 hours, and dont drag too hard".

I had the tooth out at 8:30am this morning, and even though he said 4-6 hours, do you think I should wait until tomorrow just to be sure?
