How long do bluetits live and do peanuts harm them?

  1. The recorded life of a Blue t*t is 6.years.

    Peanuts do no harm in the winter and are a good food supplement ,but refrain from feeding them in the Breeding season  and Summer months as there are plenty of Insects about which are their Natural food source.

    (Latin name  Cyanistes Caeruleus)

    Has a life expectancy of 5 to 7 years

    It is usually found in woodland or gardens

    It eats insects/caterpillars/seeds& nuts

    There are approx 3.535.000 breeding pairs in britian & roughly 15 million  who winter here

    So therefore NO peanuts don't harm them

    By the way did you know that the peanut IS NOT a nut?
