The average life span of a dwarf hamster is around two years. But it really just varies. If you feed your hamster stuff that isn't healthy for it I'm betting that your hamster wont live as long.

From 2-3 years but it can be substantially shorter. Hamsters from pet stores are often extremely inbred and run the risk of developing tumors.

I almost got a dwarf hamster and the pet store clerk said they can live up to 6 months to a year.

Dwarf hamsters live for about 2 or 3 years. Just be sure to feed it well, give it lots of water, and most importantly, lots of love!!

it depends. robovoriskii hamsters live 3-4 years

russian and winter whites live 1-2.5

and chinese live for about 2 years.

I think its normally about 2 years not positive though, our hamster lived for 3 1/2 which the vet told us was a very long life for a hamster
