I've never heard of a guinea pig living past 10...or even 9.

Generally, 5-8 years is typical, but obviously care and health problems play a big part. Some pigs are just unhealthy, due to poor breeding and whatnot, and don't live that long. Others get lucky and live quite a while.

i have had five! one died at four and the other had a tumer and died at 3 . i have one now thats 4 and still spunky and another less than a year .but it bepends on the condisions it lives in is it an outside guinea pig or inside .they can live up to 4-8 years i think.
