  1. It will stay inflated longer if it is kept in a cool place. Normally a week or so.

  2. Ages, my boyfriends parents own a florist and when he brings me helium filled balloons they last about 2 months

  3. Three weeks or so!

  4. My son has a large, heart shaped balloon from Valentine's Day that is still floating.  It's "baggy" looking, but still floating.  It's been 4 1/2 months.

  5. Ours have stayed up for weeks. But not very scientific!

  6. As I understand things, a perfectly sealed foil balloon would remain inflated indefinitely because the foil is helium tight. However, the seal is never perfect and helium will leak out very slowly. The rate will vary from balloon to balloon and I think it could be anything from a few days to over a month before a balloon loses viability.
