How long do i have to pay rego (and greenslip) in NSW?

  1. If you dont pay it by the day that it is due, you can no longer drive the car legally.

    You then have 3 months in which to register the car with a pink slip.

    If you havent done this after 3 months, you must surrender the numberplates and get a blue slip, and start again with a fresh rego.

    Blue slips are a lot more thorough than a pink slip and take a lot more time, and are more expensive.
