How long do i have to wait after i got a tattoo to let the shower hit it directly?

i got my tattoo two weeks ago between my shoulder blades its about 2 inches and ive been taking showers and not letting the shower hit it and i want to know about how much longer do i have to wait so i can take a shower without worring about the shower hitting the tattoo directly? can someone give me some good advice?

You should be fine for the water to hit it now, as long as your shower's water pressure isn't overly high - if it's really pressurized it could hurt a little.

But at the two week stage you should be fairly well healed, and it shouldn't cause any problems.

Make sure you're still using the cream to keep it moisturized though.

You will fine to let water hit it now. But if you got a pressurized shower head just take it easy, but as long as it doesnt hurt it wont affect your tatt.

You should be good to let the water hit it directly. Basically, if it isn't painful for you, go for it.

Honestly, the water isn't going to hurt it any. At least the amount you receive from a shower head won't. Just make sure you aren't taking any baths, or soaking your tattoo--it can draw out the color and make it appear fuzzy.
