How long do i need to have my fish tank cycling before i can add fire bellied newts?

I would allow your tank to run for one to two weeks. With newts take your time. I have made the mistake of adding them to soon before, and it is not pretty. Make sure you do some research on water temp. and diet. They have specific needs, and I am not sure but in the long run they might require a uvb light.
