most judgments stay on  your credit for 7 years.   if you pay on it,  the judgment will not be removed but will show on your credit that you paid the judgment.

i don't know what your finances are like but if you have a judgment on your credit, you can probably negotiate and get it reduced by at least 1/2, but probably more.
