How long do love birds live?

How long do love birds live? My Mother has had on for 14 going on15 years now. She does not know and would like to. Thank you

In the wild a Lovebird would be lucky to live any longer than 8 years,but in captivity with the right conditions and diet they have been known to live 12- 15 years so your mother's bird is a ripe old age.
